===Deadlock Stab=== This stab was originally pioneered by [https://www.youtube.com/@juststrider '''JuStStrideR'''], and he named it "The Long Way Stab", although it's most commonly referred to as a Deadlock Stab. The stab gets it's name from the tendency for spies to be looking at the enemy spy when going for a backpedal stab to keep themselves safe from the enemy spy. When in a backpedal with an enemy spy, press w while tracking the spy with your mouse. This will allow you to get a stab on the side of the spy that is opposite to the direction of the backpedal. This stab is very risky, since you are just holding w while tracking the spy. If the enemy predicts that you will go for the stab, they can matador you to counter it. So it's very important that you only go for this stab if you're sure that the enemy spy will just keep moving in the same direction. '''<big>Glue Stab</big>''' Similar to the deadlock stab, but you do it when the enemy spy is strafing back and fourth to bait you into getting matadored. The stab gets it's name from the fact that you get glued to the enemy spy's side when the change strafes. Because the enemy is doing matador movements, the execution of this stab is slightly different from that of the deadlock stab. Press w while you are looking at the spy. Do *not* actively track the spy. If you do, you will just get matadored. You want to be looking at the spot that is "in between" the spy's strafes. A good way of thinking about it is that you want to be looking at his general direction, but you don't want to actively track him. Once you do that, lock your view, press w, and only move your mouse towards the enemy spy after you pass them, and then stab.
