Weapons of the rebellion was a top European 6v6 team in the early days of competitive TF2. Created by [[xman]] and later led by [[Byte]], it consisted mainly of British players. They were well above their competition in i33 and i34<ref>[http://web.archive.org/web/20080813004222/http://i34.multiplay.co.uk:80/newsid/1463/ i34: ^wotr^ dominate the TF2 Final]</ref>. Their i34 roster was signed by [[Team Coolermaster]] in 2008.<ref>[http://www.tfportal.de/news/840/uebersicht-zu-teamwechseln/?com=5268&lang=en tf2portal.de Actual Team Changes]</ref> They played [[i35]] under the [[Team Coolermaster]] banner and won LAN once more. They were later sponsored by [[YoYoTech]].
