Esports Arena Rewind 2017, commonly refered to as Rewind LAN, is the 1st Team Fortress 2 competition at an Esports Arena event and will be divided into 2 main divisions, Invite and Open. The LAN is hosted by Esports Arena in Santa Ana, California from 21 January to 22 January 2017.[1]
The first 2 Invite teams, froyotech and Meat Market (former Circa eSports) were announced by b4nny on 1 December 2016, with at least 4 other teams joining them in the coming weeks.[2]
The original Invite prize pool provided by Esports Arena sits at $2000, but with sponsorship from Marketplace.TF,[3] now the prize pool for Invite is updated to $7000, with Esports Arena looking to raise the prize pool even higher through additional sponsors and crowd funding.[4]
