PASS Time is a relatively new official gamemode by valve released in 2016 and made into a competitive mode in 2018.

History

In 2018, some members of the competitive community adapted it to competitive with smaller maps and a 4v4 gamemode. The competitive version and its rules were mainly created by JaguarFiend. The first tournament for this mode will take place in November 2018.[1] It plays similarly to bball, having to score the ball into the enemy hoop. The current map for this mode is pass_arena2.[2]

Format

Primary Classes

Standard team composition usually has 3 soldiers and a demoman or medic.

Ruleset

All hitscan weapons, IE shotguns or pistols, are banned. Demoman stickies are disabled as demomen are required to use a shield.
