However, the old flag image [[File:Placeholderflag.png]] is an actual flag, and I created [[File:Unknown.png|23x15px]] to replace this. I can mess around with the font for Unknown.png to make it look better, but I'm not sure which is the best placeholder to use (transparent or actual flag). Transparent or actual flag
So at the moment the default setting for Template:Flag will show this image, which is just a transparent 46x30px (condensed by the template to 23x15px) image. However, the old flag image 
is an actual flag, and I created File:Unknown.png to replace this. I can mess around with the font for Unknown.png to make it look better, but I'm not sure which is the best placeholder to use (transparent or actual flag).
