RGB LAN 2017 was a one day, 8 team lan tournament held as part of the RGB LAN. The LAN was organized by many former staff members of GXL who had left GXL due to disagreements with the GXL CEO.

The buy-in was $60 per team with a $600 guaranteed prize pool if fewer than 10 teams attended.
